A lot of you might not know who Milo is so I'll tell you.He is an Olympionics which means winner of the Olympics.I am here to tell all of you three interesting facts about Milo.
1.There was one story about Milo saving the philosohper's life when a roof was about to fall on him.
2.Milo led the people of Kroton to a military victory over the neighboring city of Sybaris in 510.
3.No one knows the date of Milo's death.People say he was splitting a tree in half when his hands became stuck in the tree.It was then a pack of wolves surprised, killed and ate him.

Talofa lava Riiana and Jessica,

I most definitely agree with Jessica. Milo's death sounds like it would have been very intense and awful. The poor man...

Fortunately, it sounds like he had a really dynamic and exciting life prior to his passing. He was certainly very successful in the wrestling ring and won many, many Olympic medals. Did you know that the most successful modern day Olympian is a man named Michael Phelps? He is a swimmer from the United States of America who has won 22 different medals at the Olympic games. Amazing 'eh?!

Keep up the great work, Riiana. I'm looking forward to reading your next posts already!

Cheers, Rachel

Hi Riiana,

I agree with Jessica, the commenter above, Milo's death does sound not only intense but pretty graphic if you imagine it. But, anyways, those are some pretty good facts on Milo of Kroton! I never knew that he saved a philosopher as a roof was coming down on him.

Nice!
