What If I Was The Prime Minister

If I was the prime minister of New Zealand I would create three laws (rules) that I would like. Number one being, parents have to treat their children to dinner when they do atleast four of their chores, so all restaurants and takeaways prices would be free for ONLY children. Second would be that before children go to bed, they have to hug their parents or whoever is looking after them, so that they should others affection. Lastly, when you go out in public, you have to compliment one person. I think these laws benefit everyone.
What do you think and what laws (rules) would you make?

The Beatles: Eight Days A Week- The Touring Years

After watching this trailer of The Beatles I learned a few things about them. I'm going to share three things I learned about them. Before I do though, The Beatles movie is the most recent documentary of the band.

There music was never heard so they were fed up, they were looking for somewhere new. They looked after eachother like the strength of a Union. They were the top Britsih group and top records of the year.
If you're interested in that band like me after watching the trailer, go and check out the movie or go online and google them.

W. O. M. A. D

W. O. M. A. D is short for World of Music, Art and Dance. W. O. M. A. D is a huge music festival held in New Plymouth, New Zealand. Singers and performers from all around the world go there. Imagine you're apart of the organising commitee for next year. Which two bands/musicians would you invite to perform?
I would choose Imagine Dragons an American rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada. The lead vocalist Dan Reynolds, lead guitarist Wayne Sermon, bassist Ben McKee, and drummer Daniel Platzman.
The second would be a musician called Shontelle. She's from Saint James Parish, Barbados. Her album Shontelligence was made from her personal experience in life. What are ths two bands/musicans would you have chosen?

Favourite Justin Bieber Songs

I'm not really a fan of Justin Bieber but his songs are catchy. I'm going to list three of his most catchiest songs in my opinion.
1. Love Yourself
2. Sorry
3. Baby
Like I said before, I only put them in that order because they seemed to be catchy. Using those three songs, which is your favourite and which one don't you like?

Anpanman: Rescue Friends & Escape From Giant Ant

Anpanman is a Japanese cartoon with 1320 episodes. What I liked about episode one is that is was creative, it didn't have
someone save people from a burning building, but a giant ant! What I disliked
about it was that it wasn't the kind of style I like and the animation.
I give it  3 stars (***) If you decide to watch the video, tell me what YOU think about
it and what you would rate it!

Soccer Is My Favourite Sport

Soccer is a team sport so you have to communicate with your team. You might also get to make new friends throughout the game. Soccer also has four percent of the world's population playing soccer.

Now my opinions. Soccer seems like the most easiest sport because all you have to do is kick the ball into the goal. Whenever I play soccer, I always feel happy when someone passes me the ball so then I feel like I'm contributing. Those are my reasons for soccer being my favourite sport.

Favourite School Subject

It was between writing and maths but my favourite subject is writing. I love writing because we get to do different writings styles. My favourite writing style is a narrative because I have all these ideas that just want to get out. I'd spend hours on a narrative to finish it, even draw a few pcitures, Narratives I think are a great way to show your ideas. What do you think?

Which School Is Better

This activity involves comparing the school we currently go to schedule to a Germany school schedule.

Here is an example of a school schedule for a student from Germany.
Time
Day 1
Day 2
8:00 - 8:45 a.m.
Math
German
8:45 – 9:30 a.m.
History
Religion
9:30 - 9:40 a.m.
Break
Break
9:40 -10:25 a.m.
English
Music
10:25-11:10 a.m.
English
French
11:10-11:30 p.m.
Break
Break
11:30 – 12:15 p.m.
Art
Physical Education
12:15- 1:00 p.m.
Science
Science

The only thing that is nearly the same to my usual school shedule is that there is break time, everything else is different exepct for art. We do art from time to time. I would like to stay at my current school because history and religion seem hard. French also sounds hard! From time to time, I find it hard to focus. I find it better to work with noise, so I'm challenging myself to block out the noise.

Interviewing Frank, My Brother

Today, I asked Frank a few questions, like an interveiw. I asked him five questions a lot of people would ask others.

1. What is your name?

2. Where were you born?

3. How many siblings do you have?

4. What is your faourite thing about New Zealand?

5. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?

His answers

1. My name is Frank.

2. I was born in Auckland.

3. I have two siblings.

4. There are no snakes so I don't have to worry about where I step!

5. I would go to Texas to get an accent.

I don't think that's how accents work Frank.

I hope you got a better image of my brother.

If I Was One Of The Duggar Children

If you don't know who the Duggar family is, they are an American family with 19 children and have their own televiion show called 19 Kids And Counting. If I had 18 siblings, I would lose my mind! I can't go one day without arguing with my brother Frank so this wouldn't help. Everyday I would have to listen to screaming, crying, chatter, a lot of annoying noises. I would either go crazy or try to ignore the noises. The good thing about having a large family is that I would never get bored. I could prank the youngiest child, play outside games or do a reading and maths competition. A LOT of fun activities, I don't think having 18 siblings would be so bad! What do you think?

Meeting My Family

There are three children including me in the family. Jayden the oldiest, me as the second oldiest then Frank, the youngiest. I'm the only daughter. In total, there are five people in my family. Jayden has his own family to look after so he doesn't live with us. That leaves me and Frank. I try to be helpful but that turns into laziness unless I'm in a super mood, which is pretty often. There's a few facts about my family.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0y6uvABtSA. This is a wonderful song from Keke Palmer about how a family is like no other.

Summer Activities

Today, I asked my brother what his favourite activities during summer were. The first thing he said was the pools. He loves going to the Glen Innes Pool and Panmure. Mostly the Panmure Pools because of the HUGE waterslide. After that, he loves to go outside to play on the trampoline and swings, sometimes he bugs mum to go to Pt. England Reserve to go to the beach. He always goes on the rock and I sometimes pretend I'm going to push him.

What I Do For Fun During Summer

During summer, I normally sit at home drawing, going to Glen Innes pools or watching tv. My favourite things to do is go over to Jessicas' house or she comes over to mine. We sometimes go roller skating and mini golf at Slyvia Park, and we sometimes go out to get a bite at Carl's Jr. Another thing I love to spin around our trampoline and plum in my backyard. I then get dizzy and go back inside then lay down on th couch. Those are my favourite activities during summer! What are your favourite activities?

Is Breakfast The Most Important Meal?

A lot of people have been saying how breakfast is important because they'll end up healthier than the ones that don't eat breakfast, they will also be in a better mood and have a lot of energy. The others that disagree (which is surprising) think that people eat too much at breakfast time so they gain weight and become unhealthy. I agree that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

My reasons, becuase it wakes up our brain, it gets it thinking. Secondly, we need it for the energy and a better attitude. We need energy to get through the day and have a happy mood! Lastly, it helps us remember. If we skip breakfast, then we're getting closer to forgetting things.
I think breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

Breakfast! Breakfast! Breakfast!

Morning time! Time to get changed and go out with my family to get some breakfast! We went to a resturant across the street. We looked at the menu and saw that white rice, fish, meso soup and natto (fermented beans) was the most commonly eaten breakfast. Whenever I got the chance in New Zealand, I always had fruity rings which is cereal. My favourite breakfast out of all the options is fruity rings because of its sweetness when it's in milk. Also because of its crunchiness.

We're Here!

We have finlly arrived to Japan. After learning a few important phrases, I think I'll be fine, yeah! Here is a peom about how I'm feeling.

Nerves catching up
Ever small confidence
Rising temperature
Very hard to decide if I'm excited or nervous
Only a few minutes until I space out
Unicorns, rainbows, I think I lost it
So much going through my mind

If you couldn't tell by the peom, I would be nervous and happy. A mixture of both. I would be squealing and also worry but as long as I'm with one of my family members, I'll be fine!

Translation

We need to learn how to say some important phrases like good morning or thank you, things like that. Today we will learn five phrases.

Never Been Out Of Auckland

As the title says, I have never been out of Auckland. If I had the chance to go to Wellington I would visit the botanical garden between mid-November to December to see the flowers in full blooom. The botanial gardens has a duck pond, sundial of human involvement, the historic bolton street memorial park, where many of the city's pioneers are buried and an award winning Lady Norwood Rose Garden. The Lady Norwood Rose Garden was recently awarded the prestigious 2015 World Federation of Rose Societies Garden of Excellence Award. The rose garden has over 3,000 of roses in 110 beds. So many roses to take pictures of!

After the botanical garden, I would go to get a drink, nowhere special, just a drink from the dairy. After that, I'd go to a park and relax.

That is all I would do if I went to Wellington. What would you do if you haven't been yet or what have you done there?
