Summer Activities
Today, I asked my brother what his favourite activities during summer were. The first thing he said was the pools. He loves going to the Glen Innes Pool and Panmure. Mostly the Panmure Pools because of the HUGE waterslide. After that, he loves to go outside to play on the trampoline and swings, sometimes he bugs mum to go to Pt. England Reserve to go to the beach. He always goes on the rock and I sometimes pretend I'm going to push him.

Hi Riiana,
WOW! The waterslide at the Panmure pool looks amazing. I don't think that I have ever seen a slide so big. How long does it take for you to get from the top to the bottom of the slide? It looks like it might take a little while...
I actually spent my summers as a teenager working as as a lifeguard in Canada. I taught swimming lessons and I worked as a guard at both the pool and the beach in my town. I loved my job. It was so much fun!
I hope that you continue to have fun this summer. Enjoy your final few days of holiday before it's time to go back to Ruapotaka for another great year of learning!
