Day 1 Week 2: The Right To Vote

In Saudi Ariba women weren't allowed to vote until 2015. I think that it's not fair for women to have to wait until 2015 to vote. Everyone should have the right to vote as each opinion matters whether it's to help fix or improve something.

Hey again Riiana, thank you for sharing your thoughts on the voting situation for women in Saudi Arabia. You're right, everyone's voice does matter and 2015 is far too late. It's good they have been given the vote eventually but it's taken too long.

What do you think of the voting age in New Zealand? Do you think it should be lowered from 18?

Thanks, Billy

Hi Billy! I think that the age for voting should stay as it is. My reason is because 18+ have learned a lot over the years and will be able to make mature choices.

Hey Riiana, I hope you've been having a relaxing summer break. How much longer do you have until you have to go back to school?

Thanks for replying to my question, I think you're probably right. Perhaps it could even go up a couple of years because there are lots of immature eighteen year olds out there!

Thanks, Billy

Hey Billy! Today is the last day of the school holiday. When you published that comment we had 10 days left, including that same day.
